Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) FASS filter restriction

I am wondering if anybody has ever found the lower micron filters to be too restrictive on the FASS 150's? I ask because I recently noticed a constant WOT bucking and have also just installed a 5 micron filter. My pressure gauge at the pump inlet will drop from 13psi to 10psi on a WOT run. So the pressure still looks ok, but not sure about flow.

I think your to use a 100 micron pre-filter. ?. It comes with the FASS and it's a NAPA brand. My question is how often should you clean/replace the filter.
