I have had the fass system on my truck for a couple of months now and i am only getting about 9psi from it. Why am i only getting this when everyone else is getting 15psi. What do i need to do to get 12-15 psi.

Thanks

Trey

Ps. I got my set up from Brad.

My understanding is that there is an adjustable spring bypass in the FASS unit itself. It can be used to adjust the pressure at which the unit bypasses. Seen anything that looks like that?

Fass fuel pressure

Brad has another spring for higher fuel Pressure, or take the bypass fitting out and the spring and ball will come out, streach the spring a little and try it, you might have to do it a couple times to get the pressure you want, but it works, (i did mine).

The fitting in the front of the aluminum housing towards the front of the truck-above the larger filter- the spring/ball is located behind this fitting. You need to remove fitting to get spring out. Instead of strstching spring call Brad and ask him to send you the upgraded spring. Every time you remove that fitting you get to take a diesel fuel bath so do it right the first time.

i also see only 9psi w/my fass but it never moves even at wot. my unit is supposed to be the 12-15 pound set up brad what's up

i ordered a new spring it was 7. 50 shipped and i will have it tomorrow. said to put me between 15- 18 psi. I had 9psi also and it never went lower than that. I will report when i get the new spring in.

Well i got mine in and its about 17-18psi. That more like it, it was around 9psi. I am surprised that it went up i would have thought it would go down. When i first put mine in it was at 12 then it dropped down to 9 and stayed there.
