Fass Fuel filters

I am getting ready to replace my filters on my Titanium 150, anyone know of a better filter option or just stay with the Fass Filters?

The FASS 2um is a reasonable filter and with some googling the price is hard to beat.

No FASS filters are 2 um and the ratings they do have are a bit sketchy. Their original filters were not that great and it has always been a question if the ratings change was on paper or actual.

fs3003 and fs1001 I ended up ordering the Donaldson kit

Interesting combo.

In the future I would consider the FF5817/FS1000 combo if you have the vertical room and the FF5814/FS1001 combo if you don't.

Other than size,what is the difference? Are they a better filter?

Yes they are better filters than the ones you ordered.

The FS1001 is the short version of the FS1000 and the FF5814 is the short version of the FF5817. I recommend fitting as tall as you can since 150 GPH is more flow than filters with a 1-14" filter head are designed for.
