Hey guys, I need to pick yer brains. I am wanting to hook up the coolant fuel heater on the Fass. I have the hose and the pump fittings, but no fittings for the engine. I thought about 2 three-way manual valves for controlling the loop (and this may be the way I end up doing it). Then, I thought about using 2 three-way 12vdc solenoids powered by a relay with the signal coming from the factory fuel heater circuit. The problem is, these little solenoids are kinda pricey, and I dont even know if they would work. How has anyone else hooked their's up? Any ideas?

Thanks, Jim

I thought there are some FASS systems that come with a fuel heater option. I don't know much about it, but if you haven't purchased one yet, you might want to look at it.

Yeah, they all come with it, I just need to hook it up. The "fuel heater" consists of two vacant ports in the FASS filter head that coolant can be plumbed through.

Thanks, Jim

Sorry I couldn't be much help. I saw under product description that there was a "fuel heater". How does the heater work with the stock filter housing? I dunno if you could use the stock housing for just the heater and use FASS for your fiter and water. I am sort of curious myself because I want to put a FASS system in. I already have the vulcan 1/2" relocation kit using the stock LP. Let me know how it works out for you.
