So I recently ordered the Fass titanium, heater kit and the sump kit. I have it all installed and went really well....until I get to the cp3..I have the HD jacobs brake and I can't use the supplied fittings from fass to attach the 90 and swivel fitting. There isn't any clearance. Has anyone else run into this??? What did you do to remedy the problem?

That would be great except I also installed the fleece fuel filter delete kit and sold the oem bowl. Can I just somehow attach the hose to the existing line? There already seems to be a rubber fuel line there...

I don't see a reason you couldn't cut the end off the hose that went to the stock filter and use a double ended barb fitting to splice in the FASS. Pressure in the line is less than 20psi so I like to use clamps on the line.

Ok. So, I talked to the guys at FASS. One guy suggested just as lpennock did, to use the existing bowl. Another guy told me that because I am going from 1/2 to 5/16 that I would end up air in the system and possible pressure problems. He suggested I install fuel pressure gauges at the pump and right before it goes in the cp3 (pretty good advise, except I really can't afford 2 guages. I run a fairly stock truck, (ts mp8) and rest is preventive maintenance stuff or tad bit more performance. Here is my thought and what I did....the fass fitting they provide goes from 1/2 to a smaller diameter, although right before it enters the pump...my remedy was to just it a little earlier....

Thanks for the info...Talked to Genos garage the other day. Scott had some great ideas. I did order all the stuff needed from glacier! Only because it was 3/8. Scott had a fitting that I believe would work but was still small and I like the 3/8 option.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!!
