FASS fuel system questions

I am thinking about getting the FASS fuel system setup installed in my 2004 cummins in the very near future. Has anyone had any long term (mileage) usage with the fass system? If so,how do you like it?Worth the price? My diesel shop tells me fass is a good investment with the new lower sulfer diesel fuel requirements coming soon. Thanks for any info. coobie

FASS is a good investment.

Mileage for me is about the same.

Power is up though!!

Mine is a little loud as well but can't really hear it while driving the truck. I read where some guys have increased the pick up tube size in the tank and it quiets down to a whisper, may try it this summer.

At idle the pump whines at a volume that resonates throughout the truck... behind the truck you can hear it sucking at a pretty good distance.



I have heard that increasing the size of the pickup tube helps too, but have yet to do it.

Get a 5" exhaust.

go with the exhaust its easier than a new pickup tube
