Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) FASS full system or DRP?

I'm picking up a 45k mi 01 3500 6 speed thats all stock.
I plan to upgrade the lift pump and like the full FASS system with filter and water separator but the DRP looks like an easy swap and can be located closer to the tank on the frame.
I will keep the truck stock and am looking for reliability and longevity.
Is the DRP and stock filter setup enough filtration or should I step up to the FASS Titanium?
Also, what is the best way to add a fuel pressure gauge?

The FASS drp is a very good pump. I had one on my old truck mounted on the frame and it went out of its 4 year warranty period with no problems, then I sold the truck. I currently have a FASS titanium only because it has a lifetime warranty and no plans to get rid of the truck so wanted the best. Whatever you decide, should mount on the frame rail. (Both pumps I got from genos)
with the titanium you get 1/2" fuel line in one kit.you could get the DRP and the Vulcan big line kit which would give you a 90 with an access port to tap into the VP with a fuel pressure line which genos sells, that's how I have mine setup. But you have to buy the mounting bracket, big line kit and pump all separate and its a 4 yr warranty vs lifetime for the titanium

I have a FASS 150 with close to 400,000mi on it with no problems,i recomend it .

Got a drp mounted in the stock position on the engine block works great it was on it when I bought the truck been on there long enough it is no longer black but a solid ball of rust

We sold a lot of DDRP's with very few problems over the years. It will serve you well if you remain at stock performance levels.
