I'm looking at getting this pump and the draw straw and replacing my current set-up. I have a couple of questions, the kit comes with all of the lines and what-not to install it. Does anyone just sell the pump and mounting bracket? I have the Vulcan big line kit installed, can I continue to use this or do I need to use the 3/8" line? What is the output pressure of this pump? Can anyone recomend a suction filter for this pump?

I also have the vulcan big line kit,I bought my FASS pump from Eric at Vulcan performance, He provided me with all the fittings I needed. Iwould recommend getting 2 90 degree swivels from him also. The pump comes with its own mounting bracket but I didnt like where it wants you to mount it so I welded up my oun bracket. At idle I have 16psi and 14 at wot. The kit I got also came with A filter for the suction side

I just installed one on my '00 3500. My "new" oem lift pump had just failed and I had to limp home, 100 miles, on the spare LP I keep in the truck.

I decided to get something that had a warranty behind it, just in case.

After installation the fuel pressure is 16psi at idle and no lower than 14 at wot.

I also had the Vulcan big line kit on the truck. I really like this kit, it makes changing a LP in an parking lot a piece of cake. I had thought about keeping the large line but decided to use what came with the kit. The way my luck had been going with lift pumps I didn't want to leave anything to chance.

You could probably use the big line you already have.

The kit does come with a suction filter. Its a generic fuel filter, just enough to keep any gunk out of the pump.

I'm using the 150 gph pump, same housing, just different guts, I too fabricated my own bracket, used the draw straw and big line kit and found a larger pre-filter. I now have 1/2" lines from the bottom of the tank all the way to the injection pump. 20 p. s. i. at idle, and 18 wot. I'll try to post a picture of the bracket, I also welded on the stock pump bracket below the FASS as skid plate and alternate mount if the FASS ever fails, also set up both pumps with JIC fittings for quick change.
