I'm getting ready to install the FASS II this Saturday, no rain in the forecast. Noticed there is a small fuel filter inline pre-fuel pump. Have you guys been installing this up on tank or close to the pump? I'm thinking a bad batch of fuel might just plug this filter up and I don't want to have a hassle replacing it. Any idea how restrictive this filter is? You think this is the Achilles' heal in the FASS II set-up? What do you all think?

I would rather have a bad batch of fuel end up in that filter than in the pump or the canister. Install the inline filter where you can easily get to it (not on top of the tank) and get a fuel pressure gauge to monitor fp loss. I would talk to Brad at DPP before you just leave it out. After 145,000 miles I have yet to fill up with a dirty batch of diesel so I don't worry about it.
