Just finished with the install of my new FASS. Took a little longer than I would have thought and my buddy had to fab me a new mounting bracket as we both realized the one shipped would not work as illustrated. The truck in the instructions is a 2500 and the spring perches on my 3500 SRW are much bigger than what is pictured. Having got past all that that thing ROCKS!! Took three bumps on the motor to get primed then hit 17 psi and never looked back. I set my VA box to 100 and my EZ to 3 and tried to pull done the fuel pressure. It did dip down to 15 psi for a brief second then recovered. My lift pump would hit 8 psi at idle, 6 psi cruising and would suck into a vacuum on WOT runs. All in all, very happy with the setup. I also took some before pics to send to Brad for comparison.

Great i have been thinking of the same set-up how hard was the mod to the bracket? Do you need a machine shop or just a drill and vise?

Sorry it took long, out of town today and just got home. In order, The bracket was 2 pieces of 1. 5" angle iron welded together with a block at the end and another 2. 75". This clamps the bed rib with throught bolts, I used grade 8 with nylock nuts. The flat of the angles bolted to the bracket that came with the FASS. We did cut down the upright part of the angle iron to clear the filler neck but let the rest stay for a gusset. I should have taken a picture before I installed it! We built it with a porta-band and welder. As for the noise issue it is quieter than my stock lift pump is/was and I'm measuring the pressure at the FASS outlet. I thought about rigging something up by the injector pump but went against it for now. It comes with the 10 micron filter if I'm reading the part number correctly. Sorry this is so long!

I installed my FASS on my 03 2500 long bed per instructions. It barely cleared the spring perch, but sitting straight up it hit the fuel filler hose. I angled the top slightly outward until it cleared the hose. It seems to be working great and I gained at least 1. 5 mpg. If your like me the first one is a learning experience. I had to get help to hold the FASS up to the bed support and mark it for drilling. You need a angle drill to drill the bed support holes. I had to remove the rear wheel and wheel well liner(if you have one) to access the top of the fuel tank. When I first started it up I thought it was leaking fuel at the cp3 pump. I didn't remove the stock fuel line and it is laying on top of the cp3 pump and it was leaking some fuel. It stopped after driving a few miles. bpenrod, did you remove your stock fuel lines and fuel filter housing and if so how do you do that? TDragna

Hey TDragna mine did the same, I just got some vacuum plugs, plugged my old filter housing, same on supply line, I got a kit from Jannettyracing and installed my psi measuring point right at the injector pump for accuracy.

HptRam, What kit is that, I am getting my reading from the pump but would prefer to get it at the injector pump.

TDragna,

My problem is the springs form the 2500 to the 3500 are different. If I'm not mistaken yours should have looked like the photos in the instruction and my spring mounts are totally different. If I mount the bracket that came with it my springs interfere by 1. 5 to 2 "! I have not yet removed the stock lines other than the injector input. I have asked Brad for another injector setup (the two pieces with the 90*). I want to put the second set at the bottom of my stock caniter and have my buddy machine me a piece to replace the stock lift pump on the canister. this way I can still use the WIF sensor and the stock fuel heater when the weather gets cold this winter.
