Hesitation when when taking off

2006 six speed transmission bearing failing

Trying to install a FASS Titanium on a 2006 5.9 and have run into a small problem. The truck is equipped with a Mopar exhaust brake and my problem is making the FASS fuel connection at the top of the CP3 pump. The exhaust brake's vacuum pump is too close to the top of the pump for clearance of the new 90 degree elbow from the FASS kit. Has anyone else run into this problem? Do I have any options? I'll give FASS a call in the AM.

I called FASS and got the info I needed. If anyone runs into this problem during an install on a truck with the MOPAR exhaust brake, just plumb your FASS fuel hose directly into the engine mounted fuel filter housing. They typically bypass the factory filter when installing the FASS system.

I ran into that problem on my 5.9 07, i took vacuum pump off and installed a Thompson air compressor on passenger side by exhaust and plumbed it backwards, worked great for 10 years , then i installed 5" dual exhaust on truck and had to remove jacobs brake, 4" was too small
