I just had a reputable shop install a FASS 150 on my 2002 3500, they are 90 miles away and I'm tied up next week so I would prefer not to make the drive back to them

truck runs great but now 1) the cruise light is on but the cruise won't set or engage 2) my a/c or heater only blows out the defrost holes

I understand it could be the clock spring and the blend door but it seems strange both would quit at the same moment

Is there a vacuum line that could need to be attached, that got disconnected during the install process and if so where in the world would it be?

Thanks

PS, I had the fass installed because I am old, fat and not mechanically inclined :)

Well, sounds to me like you have a disconnected vacuum line in the area of where the fuel pump is bolted on the side of the engine. The cruise will not work without vacuum and the doors on the heater vents without vacuum defaults to defrost mode. I'd look for a disconnected line or broke line on the driver side of the engine around firewall.

Check right along the firewall where the main vacuum line runs up from the vac pump and tees into a manifold. Follow each of those lines, one is bound to be disconnected. More than likely the main line as you are having 2 separate issues. These are small black hard plastic lines, approximately 1/8".
