Going to install my Fass 95/150-1006 this week. Are there any suggestions, tips, or new updated install directions? What about the fuel pump relay circuit low code, P-o628? Also, read something about hard starts. Have any of these issues been addressed for the 05's. I would just like to install the first time without having to go back and trouble shoot. Or have I just been spending too much time reading the forums?

Thx for any input.

I have not experianced the hard start prob with my 05 but i do have the p-0628 code, which is a soft code so it does not set the mil on the dash.

tips- make sure the tank is low on fuel, also do the vent mod while you have the tank down. be careful when drilling the hole not to get too much junk in the tank. other than that i think the install goes pretty easy. o and get a good set of drill bits for installing the bracket, that frame is thick. do not over tighten the push lock connectors they are very touchy. i had to go and get new ones from the hardware store.

No hard start here, I wired per the directions and don't care for that setup. I'm eventually going to wire to existing factory lift pump plug. My PPE doesn't even show that code. Either there is no code or PPE can't read it. My 150/150 kit had bad push locks(DPP said they had a bad batch-I got em) so I got some new ones from Sharon at DPP. Pump is pretty tight fit on short beds, could only get 2 of 4 bolts in (height issue), so I welded an extension on the bracket to catch the 2 lower bolts. I also put a piece of thick rubber between frame and mount-don't know if it helps-I like the hummmmmmmmm-it scares people! Other than that-took about an hour/half by my self-pretty easy!
