Well I was installing my FASS 1 unit today and everything was going successfully until I had to install the o-ringed flare adapter into the VP-44. The fitting is larger than the threaded port in the vp, so my question is, am I doing something wrong? do i have the wrong fitting? my truck is a 2000 (in sig).

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

the issue is not depth, it is that the fitting is larger in diameter than the inlet port on the vp, so i think i was sent the wrong fitting.

I'm getting an FASS Monday, I guess that should be the first thing I check before I put my truck out of commision. It kinda sucks to be a crash test dummy for the rest of us, but someone needs to take one for the team. Just kidding, hope everything goes well. Dont forget to update us on how everything went. Thanks..... Jim

well i finally got it figured out, i called up the place that i got the FASS from, and sure enough, i had been sent the wrong size fitting. the fitting should be a 12mm x 1. 5, but they had sent me a 14mm x 1. 5, but good news is that they sent me the right fitting two-day. so basically when you inventory the parts in your FASS, check the size of the fittings too, it may save you some time and hassle. but other than this, it is an excellent product and installation was a breeze.

Sweet! Glad to hear you got it working. What are you thoughts about it so far? Adequate pressre? How about noise?
