Twin FM 100 lift pumps cost half as much and work flawlessly.

Screw Fass and Airdog. These are so prone to problems, and at the price they are getting its a joke.

Please provide more info on the FM 100 pumps!

... The more of these threads I see, the more I love my totally reliable and trouble-free Carter pusher... ;) :D

I got mine from Reliable Industries in I think Louisiana. Ask for Scott. Do a web search for their phone number.

They work flawlessly, and whisper quiet. The only thing I would offer however is to drill out the 1/4 inch pipe fitting adaptor if you are running AN fittings. Meaning, the part that screws in the pump with AN on one side and pipe threads on the other side should be opened up larger, easy to do by screwing a hose adaptor on the AN side, and using it to guide your drill bit into the fitting.

You can chose 2 micron, 5, 10 or 20 filters in various sizes.

So far so good.

How loud are the carters? Which one are you using, the marine one?

Well, my 4600 (8-10 PSI) Carter is quieter than the Cummins! :D

It can be heard prior to starting the engine, but not after - could probably quiet it some if needed, but under the circumstances, no need...

speaking of the loudness of the FASS, I put some foam tape between the mount and the bed and it is ALOT quieter. I can't really even hear it over the truck running now.
