Fass or Air dog

Hey guys i am a new member to the TDR an my first question is FASS or air dog fuel system? which one should i go with? Air dog seem to be cheaper but what is the diff?

Functionally, there is no difference. Choice is all perception and personal preference. They were both developed from the same design and down sized from a system developed for OTR trucks. Make your choice on customer service records if you need criteria.

Fill out your sig so we know a little about your truck... Air Dog has been running a special for $499 for either the AD100 or the AD150. The 100 will support 550 hp and the 150 will take just about everything else within reason. I have an AD100 as I don't plan to go over 550 hp. Call over to Pure Flow Technologies and talk to Toby. I would suggest airdog. I used to sell FASS and even have one on my truck. I'm not dogging their product, but if you ever need help with fass you're outta luck unless a tdr member happens to know. I only sell airdog now

would it hurt to run the AD150 on a stock truck for now? Im plannin on getting to 550hp or more.

No problem at all. You are going to have to drop the tank or lift the bed anyway to install the draw tube so you might as well get the AD150. I am guessing this is for your 05.

I have no complaints about my FASS. They are both a PITA to mount if you have a short bead quad cab. I haven't had to drop the tank for a draw straw yet, but if I add any more power I think I might.

No experience with FASS but my AirDog has never had a problem.

I read Air Dogs web site and looked at their diagram. Is anybody getting a mileage or power increase from just a FASS or Air dog or whoevers pump kit?



Or is this a more power/reliability thing

they are great insurance for the 2nd gen 24 valves against lp/VP failure and seem to make the truck run better.
