Fass or not Fass

I have a nib Fass system that I never installed in my 04. I contacted Fass and they will swap fittings etc to use on my 12 for a few extra dollars. My question is what will I gain if anything by installing a Fass on this truck? Other option is sell it on e-bay or craig's list. I would appreciate any insight you folks can give.

If it was me I would install the FASS, I am sold on the side benifits of those units. However you will probably have to drop the tank and modify the dip tube.

I lost the original pump under warranty at 26k, lost the next one at 35k allegedly due to dirty fuel, so it cost 1300. 00 lost the next one at 51k and converted over to a fass installed out the door for 1450. 00 much quieter than the one I had on my 99. It is the hd95gph and I really like it. Not having to worry as much is the best part, have not run a complete tank yet so no proof of a mileage increase. These trucks are picky about fuel and that is why I buy 95% of mine from one station. Having a fass to keep it clean is a great mod to make.

There won't be any mileage increase, at least none that you can measure. It's just marketing hype.

I looked up the filtering deference between a Fass system and the OEM filter and there is only 2 microns difference, is that enough to cause pump failure due to fuel or would the Fass unit fail to clean up the fuel too?
I realize that Fass doesn't guarantee any increase in fuel milage, but state you may see an increase.
If I don't get the unit sold on Craig's list I will probably get the correct fittings and install it if for no other reason because I already have it!

On my 99 I saw a slight milage increase, just fueled up this morning and saw no increase..... the fass has a large screen in the water seperator that would have caught all the contaminates that clogged my screen in the bottom of the fuel pick up not to mention the fuel filter is twice as big as the stock one and a lot cheaper to and easier to replace.
