I would LOVE liquid filled gauges..... but i also love a matching set of gauges! haha... . Don’t see too many Pyrometers with liquid in them.....



Also i think that the CP3 is a bit easier on the gauge than the VP-44. The CP3 is a consistant pressure pump... . its just making pressure, that’s it. The VP-44 is creating a pulse to pop off the injector. This gives a feed back in the line that causes the gauge to rattle... . and eats electrical sending units alive!





I understand wanting matching guages, but sometime funtionality overcomes ergonomics...



I also had this same guage on my 99's VP44... the same guage, not another one similar, but this guage... my dad has one too, same deal, last forever it seems... even on the VP44s. For $20, and something that you can screw into the top of the fuel canister on the 99s, it was one of the best investments you could make...



I actually thought I had a failed guage, then replaced it only to find it was the pressure spring causing the issues! :-laf
