I meet a guy at the diesel shop that is running a FASS pump on his truck. The odd thing about it is he's feeding his transfer pump with it. He says he is getting over 500hp and needs the fuel pressure. has anyone heard of such a thing?

Yes, did away with the fuel heater and all that stuff. It starts fine every time. Dunno what the pressure is, yet. I have the gauge but I think I'm going to wait until I install a fuel sump in the tank to bother plumbing it in.

I have one on my 12V as well... . mine runs at 44psi all day long everyday. I didtched all the factory fuel stuff and haven't looked back. -25* here this winter and the truck fired right up. That fuel heater doesn't do all that you think it does... . there is cold fuel in the lines, the tank, fuel filter housing and the IP and injector lines... . That Fass has the ports that you can plumb heater lines to it if you need to.

Just replaced the lift pump on a 94. If I had it to do over I would go the way you all have gone. I am in Texas so dont have to worry about the cold. Will that kind of pressure prime the pump without bleeding the lines?
