FASS Problem--need help

Some nice 24V injector only numbers.

I just installed my fass pump. I am only seeing 8 psi from it. I have heard that these can be adjusted. Could someone tell me how this can be done?

Thanks

How 'bout I move this over to engine accy's for ya

There we go. Now Mine I see 15 Lbs cruizin and 17 idle for 3 minutes. There is an internal spring that regulates the pressure however some dissagree with the "stretching" of the spring (Sounds like a lord of the rings movie doesn't it?) Anyhow how just installed is it? there may still be some air to work out POST filter.

I too would like to know how to do this! My FASS has been giving me some pretty strange readings lately  When new, my fuel pressure would go to 15psi and only come down to 13. 5psi at WOT. Now at start up, it reads anywhere between 10 and 13psi from the time I pull out, till I get to a redlight. After that it slowly climbs to 15psi and sometimes if it idles for 5 minutes or so, it will climb all the way to 25-26psi  What the HECK?

I just installed the pump yesterday. I emailed the vendor I bought it from and he said some got sent out with weak springs. He is going to send me another spring.

If your PSI is dropping on a fass then the filters are getting plugged ( remember these are like 2 micron filtration here) so plugging with not so good fuel is pretty easy. Its either that or your pick up in the tank is weak,

Just a thought, Hope it helps.

My FASS is also doing this.

When I had just installed the FASS, and headed to Muncie '04, I was reading 12-15PSI, now, it's idling at 8PSI, and because I don't have a working fuel pressure gauge in the cab, I can just assume, that since the truck misses and cuts out at high RPM and full throttle, that the fuel pressure is gettin' wayy down there.

I called DPP, and I should be getting a phone call back on Monday. We have a local dyno here on Sunday, and I wanted to get the stronger spring in there, but looks like it's not going to happen.
