I plan on purchasing one ASAP put have a few questions that I need answered.

I'm been trying to get ahold of Brad for a couple of days , so hopefully he monitors this board and can give me some answers.

1) is the pump rebuildable and if so can I buy a kit to keep in the truck just in case ?

2) it says it can be heated by running an oil line of coolant line but is there an electric heating element available ? I'm an avid snowmobiler and heated oil or coolant isn't going to do squat when the truck has been sitting in -20 weather for a week.

3) Will the water in fuel light still work ?

4) how weather proof is it ? Michigan winters are pretty brutal expecially when driving alot in the Upper penninsula.

I'm pretty much sold on this system but just need those answered.

1) Yes the pump is rebuild able

2) Yes you are right it isn't going to do diddly for you but members have not reported alot of problems with cold start. No electric heater set up yet.

3) No the water in fuel light will not work if you totally bypass factory OEM fuel system.

4) Very weather proof.

5) Yes you will love how the FASS is set up!

Just a question. If you used antifreeze as your heater for the fass system and plugged your trucks block heater in wouldnt that help with the fuel at least being warmer than it would usually be at that pump or wouldnt the block heater heat the coolant up that far down the hose. Just wondered.
