Well after around 25k miles my Fass has started having some issues.

About 3 months ago it just quit, tapped it with a hammer and it started back up.

I checked all the connections and added dielectric grease.

3 weeks ago I finally had some time to add the check ball upgrade, and brush cover/brush upgrade. All went well and had Zero problems with it until last week.

I started the truck up and after a few miles noticed I had zero fuel pressure, I pulled over and tapped it and it started working again. Worked fine until this morning , had the same problem with the same fix.

My pump is installed using the optional harness purchased with the FASS. I think it plugs into the factory lift pump harness.

I will again go thru all the connections but has anyone else had these problems and what is the fix ?

Pull the brushes and check the condition of them. If they are worn replace them. If there is a little corrosion around the metal part of the brush, sand it off and put them back in and retest. If there is corrosion around the metal water has leaked in around the plastic brush cap. Dab a little silicon on top of the cap and that should help keep the water out. This may help I had the same problem!

I definitly have to make some time and check them out soon, it happened again today.

After 25k miles I was started to get that warm and fuzzy feeling about never having to worry about fuel delivery problems again. Now this, I'm not happy.
