FASS return to old vent line?

Just getting ready to install the fuel tank vent mod and I want to change the return line on my FASS. I have heard of people having good luck plumbing the return line to the filler neck. I was just thinking instead of capping off the old vent line it might be an easy way to get the return back to the tank in a way that I can run the truck while I fill up. Anyone that has had a tank out see a problem with trying that?? Thanx for the help!!

I might not advocate filling with the truck running; but I installed my FASS with the bypass return going to the old vent. I don't see a problem.
