anyone know if the deal with the trading in the old style fass pumps is still good ... ... mine had a hiccup today and i was doing 60 mph with my foot to the floor passing someone and my fuel pressure dropped to zero normally it sits around 13. 5 and only drops . 5 at wot

it came back up right away was only down maybe a second and ... . i cant get it to do it again so i think it may have just been a fluke ... ... but i don't want the pump to crap out when someone else is driving the truck that wont be watching the gauge

it is a 150 gph system and it is the old style

I replaced my old 150 pump about a month ago, they honored the replacement price they offered a while back.

ok sounds like a plan, is there a good one i can go online and possibly just order and do it myself

i thought there was a member here that was a fass distributer ? or and i thinking wrong? i could be way off

No recall, they just upgraded the original wire harness and pump. The old pump had servicable brushes that needed cleaning or replacement. The upgrade campaign is for the folks who bought the original pump. A lot of TDR vendors are FASS distributers.

While on the subject of FASS, I'm thinking of upgrading from my 150 gph FASS, to the 200 gph pump, so I can continue my fueling obsession. I've heard they're unbearably noisy, anyone know?

I have 95GPH FASS system on my truck that I bought in Aug. 2005 and installed myself. Is this a pump that I should be looking at replacing?? It still has 12-13PSI @ WOT. I have not had any issues with the pump as of yet. How often should the in line strainer (between the tank and the pump) be replaced?? I have had the truck gelled up twice in the past 2 years, but have not changed the strainer. Is it just a standard 3/8in strainer?? Thanks

Matt
