I purchased a FASS95 about a year ago and installed it on my 2000 Quad cab 2 wd (edge, kn, 4" exhaust, psm intake tube) I installed it myself, as I do most of my own mechanic work. Since installation, the pressure has bounced from 9-13 lbs. just driving down the road. Sending unit was placed between filter canister and vp. (not on vp but as close as possible). I took it to the place of purchase, was told sending unit needed to be mounted directly to vp. They moved it, said it was fixed and, $150. 00 later, I drove it home. Now it bounces from 8-12 lbs. I called them back and was told they would try to track it down "at the hourly rate". I'm not falling for that again, having spent $150 on something that I could have done myself. I only drive the truck around 10,000 miles a year. Any ideas of what's going on here?

where did you mount the pump and what do you mean sending unit? I installed a 95/150 installed it per directions and dont remember a sending unit pluged it in to the old plug and a relay run new hose directly to vp by passing old filter be more restriction and pending on where you live don't need heater I'm in TX starts fine in winter not had a prob. . what is it doing to the truck

JEngledow, I mounted the pump exactly as the instructions said and the fuel pressure sending unit came with the edge juice w/attitude and is mounted on the VP. The plug is for power, and I live im montana so I do not want to by-pass the fuel heaters. Sometimes it will get down to 30 below. The truck runs great, the fuel pressure just bounces from 8 to 12 lbs and anywhere in between. The pump pressure was tested at the pump and showed 13 lbs.

ok did you keep the factory filter in that can be a restriction and does but doesn't help in filtering much when the fass does better just an idea
