Competition Fast 2WD?

I know most of the people dragging trucks are launching in 4wheel drive and was wondering if any one is sporting a 2WD. OIther then a limited slip is there any other methods of hooking up?Are there any 11 second street 2wd's?

It is posible ... takes a good tire/suspention setup. I hope to be 11. 5 when I am done with the first phase.

Yea, it blew a boot off the twins at about 900ft.

Here's the video, you can see the puff of smoke when the boot came off.

It coasted across the last 300ft or so.

I just read on another site that we could possibly see a drop in the required weight of 2wd's. . They were saying the weight requirement could drop from the current 5500 pounds to 5000 pounds for 2wd's. . If we got a 500 pound weight break with or without drugs, that would mean a huge improvement for us. .

And why don't they ever come out to play? I only know of 1 10 second truck that goes outside of his backyard to compete and it sure ain't a 2wd. Yet anyway...
