I plan on installing the Fast Coolers on my six speed and also the Mag Hytec differential cover on the rear end (11. 5"). I'm looking for the total amount of the respective fluid is needed to bring the levels up to the mark after the installation of the mentioned parts.

I know the fast coolers add a quart of capacity per side but I'm unsure how much fluid is lost in the install of these coolers.

I don't know the capacity of the 11. 5"rear end nor do I know how much the Mag Hytec cover adds to factory capacity.

If anyone has performed these mods and knows these numbers, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I just installed the fast coolers on my 6speed this weekend, albeit a 2001, I changed the fluid out altogether. With the fast coolers on each side, I ended up being able to get about 7 1/3 quarts into it.

I can't help for the rear end, but would suggest calling Jerry at Hytec 818. 786. 8325 orinfo@mag-hytec.com . I'm sure he can give you the info you need.

It should take 8 qts  to fill the diff after the addition of the Mag-Hytec cover.

When you remove the pto covers from the trans it will drain all of the fluid. All it took to refill the trans after the addition of the Fast Coolers was 5 1/2 qts:confused: The trans was supposed to hold 5 without the coolers + 1qt/cooler so I bought 7 qts of trans fluid, but 5 1/2 filled it up, go figger. Doesn't seem like much extra capacity.
