Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fast Idle

I have an 02 CTD with a 6 speed and was wondering if there is such a thing as a fast idle. Is it something that you would have to take it to a dealer for? Any help would be apreciated.

easiest and cheapest way is to find someone with a Smarty downloader and borrow it for 3 minutes...

put in a hand throttle it is the fast and easy way. My hand throttle is one that can be locked and it cost my $5. 00 and 20 minutes.
