Competition 3rd Gen with WHEEL SPEED!! Video...

My idea is that if you start with a 24V, which is a VP44, then you need to end up with the same thing. Slapping a P pump on is not staying true to the game -- my . 02. Work with what you've got and do it to it.

For those of you that have not Watched Chris' video in his sig, it is well worth the time! That is one wicked truck.

Pretty neat! I just watched it & realized it's at Maple Grove; I used to live at the end of that track. At the end of the track there's a road, then there's a gravel pit, then a field, then an old stone house, where we lived.

I spent about 5 years there going to sleep to the windows rattling.

Pretty cool...

I'd say Ol' Red - she's pretty quick. Kinda funny you can jump in that thing and still get some groceries even on the way home from the drag strip or the sled pulling track - take your pick.
Look like we have another COMP461 on the way:rolleyes:

You sure that the MPH is 139. If so how bad was the 60', the truck must take off like a pig. Most race cars that run 139mph run at least 9. 70's, with a 60' around 1. 35. Is it the guy from up country that breaks transmissions all the time? I had a buddy that was racing in Prince George last year that said there was a nice truck, but he was saying that he had gone through transmission like crazy. If that's him tell him that in our testing the trans-brake set-ups in these diesel is very dangerous.

yeah that's me this transmission has a dozen solid runs on it now. was able to play with brake last fall a little but had controller issues but still got to play a little (with the brake that is )

I think that you talked with my buddy, they call him tiny, he's 6 foot 8 400lbs. His brother inlaw Cory Thompson was racing up there I think he even won. Becareful with the trans-brake, you really should need it. If you end up needing a hand let me know. You can reach me at Diesel Transmission Technology (866)504-4002, we can probably help with your 4-link alot. We race at a pretty high level and screw around with 4-link all the time.

Thank you, I’ve been attending a Dale Carnegie course “I’m OK, Your Ok, We’re OK” I‘ve noticed my self-esteem problems improving as well. Hey, do you mind if I share this acknowledgment w/ my class ? :)
