Competition Calling All 12 Sec. Trucks To Clash!!

I don't know if he is the fastest or not, but ICEMAN's 3500 Dually is clocking low 14 second runs. No tool box, but he does have that big wing on the top.

I have a 13 sec '01 3500 4x4. . in pieces;):p

I blew a head gasket. the debris clogged the #6 oil spray. So 6 new pistons are going in along with a better cam.

I ran 14. 2s on diesel only before the twins, ported head... the clutch slipped on NOS:D

It's also getting an auto (axed the 6spd), along with a new propane system and the existing dual stage NOS. 13 are definitely in the future. I don't think 12s are unattainable but I gotta get it on the road first.

Wish me luck!!

Eric Key of Indianapolis runs a lifted Long bed 4x4 extended cab dually.

No drugs, 13. 5 in the 1/4.

24 Valve single turbo.

I will testify to the fact the truck is fast as I saw it in front of the Dyno shop going through the gears. I did not think that a manual transmission would shift that fast. What a show, better than most of the dyno runs also. lots of luck Jim

Tim,

I have a 3500. It's pretty strong, but, I've never gone to Sacramento Raceway to really see what it will do. I can burn rubber 'at will' if I 'power brake' at 1500 RPM with my Edge Comp on 5x5. I've never actually been to a drag race as a participant, only a spectator.

Bob in Sacramento

Oh man I love setting the rears on fire! I drag the brake while rollin' so I can build boost like a champ (Less fear now I am billett shafted but still skeered) and let it make the shift Viola' El smokeachino de rear ruberos' :D Some day I will make that 1320 foot run.

I kinda wish I knew what I can shoot for with my setup as of this moment.
