Father-in-law orders 2002 ETH/DEE

Didn't take much convincing for him to go this route. After he rode with me back from Missouri in mine, towing his old Oliver 88 Row Crop tractor up thru West Va. mountains. He was impressed to say the least. He ordered it just today with the ETH/DEE combo,all white exterior with camel tan interior,411 rear,4x4,trailer tow,camper special. I am glad I could give him some input on this purchase. I told him he won't be sorry he bought a Cummins powered DodgeWhen he get's it I will help him with all of the goodies he wants to put on it. Just thought I'd let y'all know I recruited another CTD owner. Now alls I gots to do is convince him to join the TDR . He will be traveling with me and the family when we go to the TDR nat's in Columbus in August.

Yeah, he's already talking about gauges, a chrome stack,a Pac Brake,etc... I think he's on the right track. I also told him about the deletion of the rear wheelhouse liners,and the lack of hood insulation and how DC's cheapened up a bit. We can get this stuff later and do all the installs ourselves. These are minor things tho.

I can't wait 'till he gets delivery of it 'cause I'd love to drive it to see the difference between this and my 5 spd.

That's what he got, the $2,000 rebate plus the 7 year 100,000 mile (I think) warranty. Not bad at all. Sometimes I wish I had the ETH/DEE myself, I've dumped way too much money in my truck now to even think about buying a new one; Saw a nice one at the dealers lot a couple weeks back, but just had to ask myself "do I really NEED it?":{ I envy my Father-in-law
