Well I saw Evan's reply to a "Truck 911" post about cycling the ignition switch on and off three times to get fault codes displayed on the odometer. Curiosity got the best of me and I just had to try it.
The truck runs fine but I got the following display: "P PCU" followed by "- - - - - -" followed by "P done". So, I gather I've got some sort of fault with the PCU (Power Control Unit?).
As you can see by my sig. , I've not messed with much under the hood so a trip to the dealer for a warranty visit shouldn't be a problem (unlike some of you guys, I can't afford to be my own warranty station.
) I just hate the thought of taking my nice running-everything works truck to the dealer, if you know what I mean.
Any ideas? What does that fault code really mean?
Thanks,
Jon
