Fault codes: Body Control U0147, HVAC U0184

My Truck: 2014 2500 CTD. I have a couple of reoccurring faults that are intermittent, no engine light illuminated in dash. U0147 - Lost Communication with Telematics Gateway Module? Not sure if I even have a gateway. U0184 - Lost Communication with Radio? But Radio has no issues. This was all discovered by my AlfaOBD and has happened a few times, cleared the codes and both codes come back after towing heavy in the past couple of months. Also, I have had drivability issues when towing and accelerating up hills, turbo lag when lightly accelerating, Transmission hunting for next gear when getting up to freeway speed, and I notice the speedometer jumps a couple of mph ticks when driving steady. Any suggestions on were to begin troubleshooting?

The newer vehicles will set codes in modules from time to time. As long as there are no symptoms related to the module you can ignore. Neither of those two codes have anything to do with drivability.

I believe the speedometer needle hunting a tiny bit is normal. Mine does that also. Just don’t stare at it.
