Damn thieves- rogue/gypsy recyclers

Miller LITE, Icehouse, Corona, Bud Light, Budweiser, Micholob Ultra, Coors Light, just about anything in the bottle. Not a fan of draft or can beer or the "dark" beers though.

FREE beer is always nice, no matter what!

:D

That Sierra Nevad Pale Ale is pretty good as mentioned above I had that at a wedding a couple weeks back.

Oh yeah add heineken to the list of good beer! :-laf

As an Authority on Beer, (just kidding) I had seen ads. on TV of Red Stripe claimed to be a Jamacian Beer I tried it (it was on Sale) I did not care for it, had a chemical after taste. When in Jamacia in 1949 and again 1951 it was all Rum dirt cheap also in Trinidad. Often the taste of Beer can be influenced by the foods one is consuming at the time. ( not a Wine-oww) but said the same applies there. ( Drinking Wine, it's Not Polite to Stick one's Nose in the glass, or so I'm told,) but the French with long pointy noses do it all the time. (Sacra, Blue?) Beer is an honest drink, I read that in olden days the students at Oxford and Cambridge Universities were allowed two pints at breakfast, (what a way to start the day) no wonder they went out and developed an Empire. As an 18 year old British Infantryman in India in 1945, shortly after joining the Battalion we were had a ration of four Flagons of Beer, we had to pay for it of course, adding Insult to Injury it was "Yankee Beer" issued in late afternoon 95*F it was a Pilsener Lager brewed in New York ( Thank God the British lost that Colony) shipped to San Francisco ( they deserved the earthquake) left there for Australia, (are you sure the Auzzies didn't drink the whole issue, and replaced said contents recycled from their urinals?)(save every drop) to Rangoon, to Calcutta then up to us in Ranchi. Was the journey really nessesary? As 18 year old British Beer was no stranger to us, that was why we did not pine after it or any alcholic beverages, as to my contempories in the US Forces. Lived in the USA for 51 years and still do not care for popular American beers, but am able to find many American Micro-Brews suitable to my taste. I feel if you can't bite into it it's not worth drinking. I'm all for supporting Home Industries, be an American, buy American Home Micro Brewed Beers, (even the Temperance Society of America Drinks to that!) p. s. I drink all Beers at room temperature, otherwise they are not worth drinking.

For store bought, it used to be BridgePort IPA now it is Widmer Broken Halo IPA.

As for the best tasting beer, that would be most beer I brew myself. Some I make for others, but what I brew for myself is a IIPA with a BIG hop bill. Dang this talk of beer makes me think I should break out the brew rig and brew me up a batch. :-laf

IPA must be the King of Beers, or if you must "Queen" a real good Honest taste. It's claimed the British formulated it to stand the long voyage to India, thus India Pale Ale. In general in the UK a Pale ale was a Bitter beer, and for some a Half and Half is a Half pint of Bitter and a half pint of Mild, although it can also mean a half of Guinness or Stout or Porter and half of Bitter. A very refreshing drink in hot weather is half beer and half Lemonade or Lime, or Lemon/Lime, called in the UK a "Shandy" children were also given it to drink. I drink all my beer at room temperature, I like to Taste it, chilled I feel it cauterizes ones taste buds. (after all it's not icecream). Strange but today it seems that the French have forsaken wine in the bars for beer. Perhaps the French are finally becoming sensible, or perhaps partly civilised. Good pleasant Hops to you all.

Man Guess that I am pretty boring being that I am satisfied with a simple Miller Genuine Draft (MGD). I thought I was picky because I prefer it to be from a bottle. I can't belive that the King of beers hasn't gotten a few more votes.

King of what????????????????????

My favorite beer is the kind that, the instant I crack it open, party music starts playing and I'm suddenly surrounded by a bunch of babes in bikinis. I don't remember the brand name, but it seems like most of the beer commercials on TV are for that brand. If it's on TV, it must be real, right? I've tried all kinds of beers, but that hasn't happened to me yet. One of these days I'm gonna find that elusive brand of beer and I'll drink it everyday, and I'll be a studly dude with a full head of hair and washboard abs, I'll have a babe in each arm, and it will be summer year 'round.

In the meantime, I don't understand it! Seems like no matter how much beer I drink, I just can't seem to get those washboard abs!

Seriously, though, I had never heard of hefeweizen (the "w" is pronounced like a "v") beers until I moved to Washington. They're pretty popular here, and now that's my favorite, either Henry Weinhards or Pyramid.

I like Spotted Cow but it has to be on tap, the bottles have almost no flavor.

One I would recommend to those that like a lot of flavor is Moose Drool Pretty good stuff!

Day to day it's Bud Light...
