So what broke your rings? Has your brother been using ether?
Well, thats very complicated. My brother had a problem with 4 bad injectors last year. The dealer used either to get it running, but that was 50k miles ago. According to the machine shop who looked at the parts, this may have been caused by a bad injector just dumping fuel. Some other people are telling us that broken rings are common in a CR because of cylinder pressures, heat & ring gaps. A good source told me that the problem with the CR is that they run very hot & the ring gaps are so tight that they close under high heat. They say the fix is to set the top ring gap to . 035... ... . I'm not doing that though.
