fed up and need answers

my buddy has an 04 and it started running rough! we have replaced the FCA, Camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, fuel filter and a new pressure relief valve. it runs like crap, no codes, idles horrible then dies, blows white smoke!

what could it be??? injector??

Sounds like injectors.

are the injectors sticking or what?? did the electronics go bad?? it is a stock truck!! his rail pressure is around 19k at idle, is that too high???

OMG yes, that is too high at idle. First try removing the rail pressure gauge. What model 04 engine?

04 - 305/555 should idle around 5400 psi
04. 5+325/600 should idle around 6800 psi

04 its starts right up, then dies white smoke! don't have rail pressure gauge, it hooked up to a scanner!
