Hello All and Thank You

Need info on pure veg oil what I mean is what makes a veg oil food grade, What is done with the oil that does not meet this spec. What process is the oil ran thru is it Dewaxed, Heated, Cooled, Treated with Cemicals what is the process?

The reason I ask is and big farm in my state has asked me to help them with cutting the cost of fuel for them they have read my posts and liked what they have read.

They are thinking of growing the plant and pressing the seed for oil then having me show them how to make it in to fuel, they are more in to blending the fuel ,they tryed biofuel and did not like all the work they had to do to the oil to make it in to biofuel also they did not want a byproduct.

I was told by the owner that they use over 100,000 gallons of fuel a year ,

what need's to be done to the oil after it is pressed to make it useable as a fuel I am hoping that some one out there is working at a seed oil crushing plant and can help me.

Thank you for your time

A seed press makes two things: Oil and feed stock.

Basically you just need to filter the oil down to about 10-5 micron before it is ready for fuel oil. The food grade is actually not even this clean.

I designed a 300Ton/day(46,800Gallons oil/day) production plant for the primary use of selling the oil as fuel. And as a by-product feed stock could be sold.

This plant was designed to produce over 17M gallons/year (running 24-7)
