I noticed in the new issue of the magazine that they have the price of fuel in all the lower 48 states and Hawaii. How come not for Alaska? Hummm? Could this be a conspiracy? Are we here in the frozen north not important enough to list the price of fuel? Oh well, just had to ask the question.

Filled up tonight in Anchorage, it's $1. 83 per gallon at Garrett's Tesoro. The best fuel in town.

My FIL has lived outside of Fairbanks (13 1/2 mile Steese Hwy) for about 40 years. I think he prefers to be "left out".

Robin was in charge of calling around to get fuel prices, but when she called your place you must have been outside. I guess it's true one can not hear the phone ringing through the walls of an igloo. Maybe when the thaw comes you could run a string and can out to your outdoor privy.
