Feeling Fuelish???

Just some fuel for thought... . Diesel fuel at the pump is now more expensive than reg. gas. Here in Canada (Vancouver Island), diesel is $0. 959 per litre. This works out to $3. 629 per U. S. gal. I believe diesel fuel is a less refined fuel than gasoline..... it just doesn't add up. Any thoughts?

Hey what are you complaining about you live on an island if I remember correctly its not that big is it? :-laf LOL Just pulling your leg. I sure hope you are taking care of that pristine pickup of yours, last time I heard from you were going to take it out in the woods or something like that :{ I still cant believe that you didn't enter it in the show and shine last year at the first gen event up at Piers's. I think you would have been in the running. Well they should have another one this year I sure hope you and your little dog will make it.



Now as for the diesel prices yeah they are getting out of control. I don't even drive my pickup that much because it is cheaper to drive my (gas) commuter. I sure hope the prices go down some before my trip up north for the first gen day whenever they have it. (Pastor Bob any idea yet?) It's quite a trip from down here in CA. Oh by the way I paid $2. 50 something last week. I have no idea why or how regular can be cheaper than diesel, because you are right about the diesel being less refined.

Fuelish...

In So. CA, San Bernardino (70 miles east of downtown Los Angeles), I'm paying $2. 39-diesel, $2. 27-regular gas. I average 19. 50 mpg in my CTD. I continue to enjoy driving 'er daily. My '72 VW-bug averages 18. 50, and I do drive it like I stole it. I cruise in my Cummins :-laf , and put my right foot into it when needed . Patrick.
