Tankless water heaters?

For the dog

After being moved to a new "entry level" job, after back surgery, I have been pretty down about having my salary cut to entry level pay. My supervisor handed me my evaluation on Friday and it was all ones, which indicated "exceeds expectations" in all catagories. Now I'd like to take that evaluation and stick it in Human Resources dark spaces.

YA, but look at the free time you have now to post in the 'other' forum. When you had to work for a living you could not do that.

Doc, I too had back surgery 12 years ago. I still work at UPS and the work is hard. Also the big "50" is a few months away. They (UPS) tried to jerk me around on pay. I went to an arbitration about 8 months later and they had to back pay me $3400. I'm at home,my back killing me and wondering how I'm going to make it another five years at work.

Hang in there Doc. If you aren't doing alot of strenuous work(I know that you work your BRAIN overtime!) your back will feel pretty good after about a year.

Maybe you can pick up a few extra bucks standing on a street corner;) ;) (just KIDDING) Chris

I went through back surgery in '96. Had my job too long, great retirement, to walk away from. It was an on the job injury and they really tried to jerk me around. I fought till I changed sections and am happy now. They told me to go home cause "you are not fit for duty". I invited the Supervisor to the parking lot to see who was fit... request denied!

To the younger group..... DO NOT GIVE THEM TOO MUCH Cause if you do get hurt they will treat you like used T. P. Do your best and save the really good part of yourself for off hours! I always thought "work hard and you shall be rewarded"... . maybe in the old days!

DOC, There is a dynamite book on stretching... yes stretching, helps me A LOT. "Stretching" by Bob Anderson. Turns out the author teaches these technics to pro sport guys. You can find it at any major bookstore. Man is the only animal that does not properly stretch upon waking up... check out the dog or cat.
