Which flares did you get from this site and how good is the paint match. In the picture it looks real good but whats your opinion from seeing it in person. I have one the same color and year so I'll probably pm you for the info on the paint number.

Thanks

Hey Bob,

I bought these that came painted to match-

Those are among the nicest flares I've seen.

I wonder how they'd look with the 2 tone on my truck? That's been my only concern -- thought it might look stupid. I'd guess they'd have to be the bottom color... ...

JGann- I think the lower color would look great. My son has a white truck with silver on the bottom and before I mounted these I held them up to his trick and IMO they looked great.

JValdez- PS2 is the paint code for silver. The match is perfect because they use the paint code. I like them and would buy them again. Some flares use a black plastic gasket with a small bead that sticks out from the flare, I had a pair like that (bushwackers) I think on an 02 1500. I like these better cuz that black bead defined the flare too much and wouldn't look right on a two tone truck for sure.

I have a 2005 Mineral Grey 3500, and just installed Bushwacker Pocket Style flares. They look GREAT because they have pockets with stainless steel "fasteners" in them, so it gives the look of a bolt on flare. I had them painted to match, and the stainless just looks awesome with the rest of the chrome on my truck. They fit really well, too. I wonder if you could paint the black moulding as well? That would really look sharp!

I don't think they fit much better than this. #ad
They are ATS flares

Sounds cool, I would like to see those if you have a pic.

I know you guys get tired of me saying this, but stay away from Bushwackers!! Far away..... I had the pocket style on my truck for 4 months and the totally destroyed the paint underneath the rubber strip that contacts the paint. . If you get flares, make sure you get some that actually attach to the truck and NOT ones that just float on the paint, trap in road debris and wear the paint to the metal. . Just trying to save you guys from going through what I have. .
