Is anyone running fender flares on their dually's? I like the factory Power Wagon flares but can't find any info if they can made to work on the rear fenders. Any aftermarket flares if have found exclude the dually. Thanks

I am going to try and install some next week. I am going to try the Xenon sport flare and/or the Bushwacker extenda flare. No one seems to know what works. A member on here has the Xenon flares on a dually. If you can wait until next week I will report my results. I am interested in the Power Wagon flares as they are all in the same price range but the supplier of the others is willing to let us try them for fit and return them if they will not work.

I have a set of Bushwackers that I am going to be putting on my GM dually. . they were painted when I did the whole truck and have yet to put them on though. There are a few things with the rears that i have noticed on the GM and will probably be the same as the Dodge... although the profile of the dually fender is the same as the normal box profile the lower lips of the fiberglass are differed. What I found is that I have to take the die grinder and trim quite a bit of the flare to make them look like they were mean to be on there. Mine are also the flares that have the pocket holes/bolts on them so what I am going to do is on every other bolt I am replacing them with longer ones that will go right thru the fiberglass to bolt it down because normal way won't work because of what had to be removed... . probably makes no sense but I am sure you will figure it out when you try it! at the very worst you buy the flares and only able to put on the fronts... . not sure if Dodge ever offered stock flares but GM did that for years with there duallys and it looked pretty good!

Slow Six and RyanB, Thanks for the replies, I am anxious to see the results. Maybe a few pic's and any problems you encounter!

Just got to thinking... if you look into one of say the 1st or 5 issues of Diesel Power Magazine there was a guy from Edmonton that had his 2002+ Red dually in there with Bushwacker Pocket flares on it... thats actually where I got the idea for it. I would guess it came out around Jan, Feb or March of this year...

I got the Xenon sport flares installed. I left them in the black finish out of the box as the kind of roads I travel would chip off the paint and road tar looks worse on white than black. I think they look good. The front ones fit absolutely perfect. The back ones took some time to fit and although not perfect I am okay with them as my main goal was to get more tire coverage and something on the inside of the fender to protect from rocks as I travel a lot of gravel roads. I am not real savvy with cameras and posting the pics to here or I would try to post pics.

Slow Six, Thanks for the update on the Xenon flares, I will have to look into them. I was talking to the service manager at the local dealer and he stated that the power wagon flares would not fit the rear on a dually, however the openings look identical to the single wheel, but they may have more outward curve. I might have to go ahead and give them a try. The parts guy said he would take them back if they didn't fit as long as they were in new condition. I am going back there tomorrow to pick up my SRT-10 hood and drop it off for paint, so might have to wait on the flare anyway. ( lack of cash, always a problem)

daytripper63, thanks for the info on BIG BOB's truck, Bob, are those factory, ie. power wagon?
