I read somewhere on this forum that there was a replacement for the "sealed Truck-lites" for the dually fender extensions.

I'm in need of one yellow and cannot locate the information, can somebody please advise.

I just needed to replace some of my running lights also. I was at my local NAPA and they had the original "Truck Lite" brand in a bulk bin. Both the yellow and the red running lights for $2. 69 a piece. I could not believe it. The dealer quoted me $19. 80 a piece for them and the NAPA is only 2 blocks down the street. I got 6 new ones for less than the dealer wanted for one.

And people wonder why we call them that now TDR forbidden word that means thief.

Althought the Maxxima LED products are tempting at their, price Buyer beware- We have changed all of ours out to Grote. (We're talking about 40+ lights here) The Maxxima were failing left and right on the trailers, and had very poor seals and the boards were getting corrosion quickly. I got tired of dealing with it. They are chinese junk lights. Best off with Grote or Truck-Light. If you do your shopping, they can be had for a pretty good price. PM me and I can tell you where to get them.

Went to my local NAPA store here in Riverside, they don't carry Truck-Lite.

Had to go to a truck parts supply store, and they had them for $6. 20 ea.

Not sure all NAPA stores carry Truck - lite

If one store has them they can all at least order them. I will get the part numbers if you want. Bill

Just a Suggestion!

I went to A local Truck Stop That actually carrys the "Truck Lite". I did Pay $1. 99 ea. For them.

But I do have to agree with Farmall If one store has them the others can order. If you have a Truck Stop near you Might check with them.

Cheers

Amy

Very few Napa stores actually stock Truck-Lite, however they can all order them. Find yourself a FleetPride, they stock both Trucklite and Grote (which is usually less expensive and are more reliable). And their prices are much better than Napa on the lights.

I get mine at the Iowa-80 truck-stop. Don't recall off hand what they cost for sure($2-4, I think). I saw that the Flying J, that is a few miles closer to me has them, but they wanted something like $12 for them. :--) The only difference between the 2 was that the from from FJ was in a bubble pack and the other wasn't.

I went to a cruse night one Saturday night to check out all the old cars and trucks there and a man show'd up with a old 68 mack . He told me that there was going to be a big truck show at a place in Houston the next Saturday at a place that sell's aftermarket accessories for eighteen wheelers so I went and check'd it out . I cant remember the name of the place but it had the word Chrome in the name and they had every thing you could think of to put on a big truck . They had the side marker fender lights we use on our trucks and they had some that were green so I bought eight of them and put five on my tail gate . They were a off brand but they are holding up better than the Truck Light and the Grote brands that I have on my running boards and they turn'd out to be more blue looking than green .
