I am looking for anyone that would be knowledgable about Fiat injectors. I am working on an Oliver 1365 that is actually a Fiat. It has a Cav pump and what I thought was a CAV fuel system, upon further inspection the injectors are Fiat and everything else is CAV. I would like to find bigger tips or injectors for it. . ANy help is appreciated, Marc

Why not just send the OEM injectors out and have them EDM'd?

I sent out my OEM 160hp injectors from my '94 to Massdiesel and got some SWEET running 5 hole by . 015" EDM's in return. They're lightyears better than the 370's I had in there... the infamous "370 stumble" is also reduced significantly.

I plan on sending the injector out of my single cylinder diesel snowblower engine once I get a turbo on it.

that will certainly be the next step, I just don't want to be without the original injectors or tips. I have a feeling they would be hard to find, so I Imagine they will be sent out. Thank you for the reply, Marc

Have you contacted a diesel injection shop about the injectors? The part numbers on them might cross reference to something else.

You'd never want to go back to stock nozzles, right? :)

I certainly don't think I would like to go back to stock :D . But would hate to not have them around in case I need them... I have been in touch with our local shop( who I think is one of the best) and he is working on crossing them, but unlikely we believe. I am good friends with a machine shop that can edm them, that is most likely going to happen next week. . My plans are most fuel I can before I need to turbo it. That is next, already have the intake setup and exhaust header made... . I will post pictures when I am done, and some at 300' at the track... ... ... Thank you, marc

Hey, Marc:

Sounds sweet to me. Based on my somewhat limited experience with naturally aspirated diesels, it won't take much fuel (or RPM) beyond stock to make 'em run hot. With forced induction, there is quite a bit of margin for increased fueling.

Let us know how it works out - sounds like a cool project!
