Last fall I saw a pickup with a fiberglass cover that had several hatches that could be removed to hook up a fifth wheel. Does anyone know the name of this cover or who sells them?

While I was vacationing up in Colorado last summer I think I saw what you are talking about. This was a White 3500 pulling a long Patio Hauler.

I went and tried to see where it was built but no luck. I tried to remember what was on the manufactor sticker but mind and old age just dont work like it use to. The only information that I can barely remember is that it might be made in either Kansas or Missouri. Maybe one of our TDR members might have a clue on who the Manufactor is?

When I went out the next morning to get the info, they had slipped out early and I missed my chance to talk to the owner.

I tried the Adbrook cover, It is sitting in the shop. It was hard to hook up and the rain got in the bed compartment. It just didnt fit my bill.

Just to follow up some... . I found the name of the manufactor. It is Miller Manufacturing Cover. But I still cant find anything on the net about this company.

Any body have any clues?

Had one on my 86 Ford Diesel... I'd check out the following before I got serious about one. Mine was made from fiberglass and painted to match the truck. Only problem was it oxidized withing a few years and had to paint it again. . Take a close look at how it is supported underneath. Take a look at how it is removed if you want to use the box. Mine would allow the rear deck portion to be removed, but that left the tool (?) box up front that limited the area in the bed. Mine was cast with the deck slanting towards the middle of the bed (rain water drained to the center of the bed instead of to the sides). When I got my new Ram, I put a Roll N Lock on it and I just slide it back one notch when I'm towing my 5th wheel... ;)

5th Wheel Cover

I have found the company that makes the fiberglass covers that you were asking about Fish.

The compnay name is Miller Manufactoring Group. You can reach them at 1-800-554-2956. The owners name is Ernie Miller. He is really a nice guy. They are working on a web site right now, but I did scan his flyers.

Here are a couple of pics of the covers...
