fiberglass ram air hood

I am in the market for a fiberglass ram air hood for my 97. Normally I would do a search on this, but since that feature is down, I will have to post on it.

I am looking for the dual air snorkel type that can be made functional. I am not going to hook up the intake to it, I am just hoping to reduce underhood temps a little.

Any good leads or advice would be great. Also, I was wondering about the hot deisel engine vs. the fiberglass... . Melting???? Or is it pretty durable?

Do a member lookup for Doug Hofeldt. He makes a functional ram air hood. The only one that I know of that is actually functional. My hood has never given me problems due to heat and there are a few on here with lot more hp (=heat) with his hood.

I spoke to the owner, Graham Moore, the other day. He is currently producing one for our trucks. He is close to Pigeon Forge, TN (1 1/2 drive) in Brasstown, NC. I am going to head over there during my vacation to PF. I will give you a full report on my findings!

There was a guy at the Hot Rod show in Daytona with a jam up double scoop hood. I lost his card and web site ,but his shop was in Titusville Fla. I will try to find it.
