I like the blue or red with the Cummins logo, but will be happy with what ever you come up with. Count me in for sure. I used the oil filter wrench last week (hated to get it dirty) and it worked great. Thanks, Jeff.

edit: A natural colored aluminum one would look with an engraved "C", too.

Just a thought,

Would anondize or powder coat hold up better to the use of the filter wrench.

I am thinking that the mating surface could, over time, have the pretty blue chipped off.

Wadda you think ??

You're probably right E7. Powder coat may hold up better, but is harder to control thickness and could cause problems with the way a filter socket fits. Besides, the local powder coater has gotten hooked up with Honda doing valve covers, and the local sprint guys who supported him when he was small are getting the cold shoulder. Actually, not just the sprint guys, but all local racers including Patrick and the Samson truck.

Besides, my socket has radii instead of flats and will grip the flutes in the center, not on the corners. The one Geno's sells is plastic. Either way, no more than the average fuel filter is changed, it should hold up fine.
