Archived filter change and now no start

i just changed my fuel filter on my 96 ctd. i try to crank her over and it wil not start. i opened the bleeder bolt about half way and i keep pushing the primer button and i just don't see any fuel coming out the bleeder bolt

well i floored the pedal and it finally cranked over. last time i did this it started in about 4-5 trys. this time it was alot more like 20. whats the deal?

I suspect that you have an air leak somewhere that is not too bad yet. Best to find it before it gets bad. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

I think Joe's right on with the air leak.

What some people do it, leave the bleeder opened, and pressurise the fuel tank to about 5psi.

That should prime it, and maybe even find the leak.

Where do you attach a fuel pressure sender on a 12v?

You'll have to add a T junction where the fuel goes into the inj. pump. I just did one last week.
