Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Filter confusion

I just got my shipment of fuel filters from Geno. My last batch for my '99 were FS19528. They shipped (and the website lists) FS19598. The FS19598 look to have way less filer area although it will probably fit the canister. What is up ...

According to the Fritz,... ... that is the new number... it superseded the old one back in Nov 2001
