I have been trying to give Ray T. enough information to make Hi-Flow banjo bolts for 12-valve engines but I am puzzled about the banjo bolts in the filter head. The inlet banjo is a double banjo setup, i. e. , a small banjo is mounted on top of the main banjo. What is this smaller line for?
The outlet banjo has a small screw in it that my Customized Parts Catalogue labels as a "Captive Washer Cap Screw". Does this small screw do anything besides plug up the hole in the head of the outlet banjo?
TIA, Dave
I should have looked more closely at the other banjo bolt thread on this forum. HEMIdart describes the small line as the injector return line and the small screw in the outlet banjo as an air bleed screw. Is this correct?
